YIT extends quest for continuous improvement to expense management

YIT’s existing expense infrastructure was a mix of semi-automated systems and manual processes involving Excel files and paper receipts. It was cumbersome, decentralized, and time-consuming. The user experience was unsatisfactory, visibility was poor and the process was vulnerable to human error.

As a user of other SAP Concur solutions, YIT realised that Concur Expense Management provided a logical answer. Overall implementation took five months, but YIT took care to get the design and build phases right before embarking on the solution’s implementation.

Having piloted SAP Concur for a few months at a group company in Finland, accompanied by staff training and producing a written set of instructions, YIT extended the roll-out to other local operations before crossing the border into Sweden.
